Frequently asked questions
What counts as extra whitespace?
Spaces or tabs at the start and end of lines, runs of several spaces in a row, and blank lines. Each option removes one kind, so you stay in control.
Can I remove duplicate lines?
Yes. Tick "Remove duplicate lines" to keep only the first occurrence of each line, which is handy for cleaning email or keyword lists.
Will it break my paragraphs?
Only if you choose "Join into one line". Otherwise line breaks are kept, and blank lines are only removed if you tick that option.
Is my text private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser.
