    Frequently asked questions

Which image format should I pick?

PNG is lossless and best for text, diagrams and screenshots. JPG makes much smaller files and is fine for photos and scanned pages. WebP is small and sharp but some older apps cannot open it.

What does the resolution setting do?

It sets how many pixels are rendered per inch of the page. 150 DPI is good for screens, 300 DPI is print quality but makes larger files.

How do I get all pages at once?

Click "Download ZIP" to get every page in one ZIP file, or download single pages from the list.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Pages are rendered by PDF.js inside your browser. The file never leaves your device.

Can I convert password protected PDFs?

Not yet. Encrypted PDFs need the password to open, so remove the protection first and try again.
